Overview

eDrawings® is an email-enabled communication tool that makes it easy to share 3D and 2D design data generated from OneSpace Modeling. Collaborate more effectively with everyone involved in product development with documents that anyone can open, view and print.

Publish and share eDrawings

CoCreate Software provides two levels of eDrawings support. The ability to publish eDrawings documents is a base capability included in OneSpace Modeling, enabling 3D design data, along with associated drawings, to be easily viewed by others using the free eDrawings Viewer™. Companies that need more advanced capabilities, including inspection- and review-enabled capabilities for eDrawings documents, will want the eDrawings Professional™ add-on module.

Design reviews by email	Share lightweight 3D and 2D design data with the extended team using eDrawings. Optional measurement, markup and STL export capabilities allow team members to view, interact and provide feedback to product developers – all through email.
Eliminate misunderstandings	Clearly communicate 3D and 2D design data using interactive models and realistic, shaded drawings. Avoid misunderstandings when discussing design topics or resolving complex engineering issues.
Share large designs	Highly compressed 3D and combined 3D & 2D eDrawings documents make large native CAD files easy to share with others. Typically an eDrawings document is more than 90% smaller than its native CAD counterpart.
Multi-CAD collaboration	Collaborate in a multi-CAD environment by sharing 3D and 2D design data in a universally viewable format.
Share outside mechanical	Share 3D design data with other disciplines, and improve the workflow for cross-discipline development – such as developing space constraints with electrical engineers during printed circuit board and housing design.
