Successful Event
Tokyo, Japan — CoCreate Software held its 5th annual
forum for the greater Asia Pacific region at the Hotel Nikko Tokyo,
on Friday, September 14, 2007.

Attendees pack room at September forum
The theme for CoCreate Forum 2007 was Product Development
Leadership with CoCreate Software. At the forum, more than 550
participants attended programs focused on using lean product development to
overcome competition.
Mr. Masayuki Okano, President of Okano Industrial Corporation,
delivered the keynote presentation. Okano Industrial Corporation is renowned
for their award-winning joint development of the world’s thinnest syringe
needle, offering painless injections for patients and diabetics. Mr. Okano’s
impassioned speech revealed his product development philosophy, one that
ensures unprecedented and inimitable results.

Mr. Tetsuo Minami, Senior Manager of Microsoft Co. Ltd., delivered the
partner presentation. He said that Japanese manufacturers could be getting
more from IT investments by looking beyond corporate frameworks. He then
showcased CoCreate’s collaborative IT approach, 3G PLM.
Mr. Jun Kojima, Business Unit Director at Hewlett-Packard Japan Ltd.,
introduced that company’s strategy and its full line of workstations.
Finally, CoCreate's Chief Executive Officer, William M. Gascoigne, and Vice
President of Worldwide Marketing & Product Development, Ulrich H. Mahle,
both shared CoCreate's vision and future direction with attendees—including
what to expect next for CoCreate's Dynamic Modeling approach and the entire
OneSpace Suite.
About 200 people, including members of CoCreate User Group, attended the
reception after the Forum.
CoCreate intends to extend and enrich the program for next year to include
even more useful information and updates to customers and prospects.
The next CoCreate Forum 2007 takes place on Tuesday, October 9, in the
Congress Center in Sindelfingen, Germany.
